Summit Imaging Inc

Summit Imaging will host a two-day training course on the Philips iU22 and iE33. These two systems have been a specialty of ours since the company was founded just less than seven years ago. Both systems have always been a main project for our Research and Development Department, pushing for a level of knowledge that can be easily trained amongst others.

Our training course is designed to help Biomedical Engineers troubleshoot, diagnose and repair the Philips iU22 and iE33 Systems.

Training will begin with a brief coverage of the System’s Settings. This will teach the Biomedical Engineer how to work with the IT Department to troubleshoot communication issues between the Ultrasound System and Dicom Servers.

Summit will then proceed with a hands-on demonstration of Mechanical Assembly/Disassembly of the systems. Due to their non-conventional design, it is important to understand the order of assembly and disassembly to ensure an efficient service call. The goal is to give the Biomedical Engineer the knowledge and confidence to inspect and replace parts eliminating the need to outsource a service call.

The remainder and majority of our training will be based on Common Symptoms and Errors. Proper identification of each is important to be able to accurately diagnose the problem. After covering identification Summit will train on new techniques and approaches to assist Biomedical Engineers in efficiently and accurately diagnosing the error/symptom. This includes how to use Summit Imaging’s Diagnostic Toolkit to reduce service call time.
